“ I first ate at Saroki's on Woodward about 15 years ago and I believe that was the first location. Have sprung up everywhere since then so congratulations Todd! I love their pizza. Great New York style pie. Large slices with an excellent crust and top quality toppings. For me, the fact that you can pop in and get a slice or two all day long is a major win. Fast and easy and the pizza is excellent. If I have one complaint it's the kids who work there and are quick to put a slice of pizza on top of another slice in a box. Who stacks pizza slices? Other than that, perfect! ”
“ The chicken here is always hot and crispy! We like it as well as their pizza. I will say that we have not cared for their side dishes like their mashed potatoes or their coleslaw... both were very underwhelming. But their chicken is on point! Best fried chicken anywhere around. ”
“ This is just a beautiful place to walk into. It is so orderly and clean and the service is amazing. Their pizza is delicious and they have lots of other options. I am very happy they are close to me. ”
“ The chicken is way better than Frankenmuth, the salad is always fresh and the pizza is awesome! Happy we found this place! ”
“ Waterford has been needing a great fried chicken place for over a decade, and Saroki's nailed it. This fried chicken is perfectly seasoned with a light crispy crust of amazingness. The Nashville hot is spot on, too, but definitely not for the faint of heart. The ladies working the front desk were kind and helpful, and the place was clean! it doesn't get any better than that. It is addicting and I will be back! ”
“ Was in the Kroger supermarket across the street from this restaurant Sunday looking to order a hot fried chicken meal. Unfortunately, the Kroger hot food bar was closed on Sunday. So I went across the street to this little restaurant (that is connected to a gas filling station) that advertised pizza and crispy fried chicken on its outdoor marquee sign. Two crispy chicken wings and two crispy chicken breasts cost $12. The Chicken was very crispy and ranked up there with the best fast food chicken I've ever had anywhere. Another plus for me was the fact that crispy crust was also very spicy! In short the chicken was delicious and I would order chicken there again in a New York minute. ”
“ This place was a cluster but I am going to give them a pass since I broke one of my personal rules, do not go to a place too soon after it opens, let them work out the bugs first! But honestly, I was too excited, so I went probably less than a week after they officially opened and it was a bit of a nightmare. But this place was on my food bucket list and I wanted to support them. Knowing that in advanced, I will be back and continue to be a customer even though it took way over an hour to order and get the food (we were told it would be only about half an hour). Since they are new and probably are not able to get adequate staffing, it was backed up by an hour or two to get the food. Orders kept on piling up from both in-person and online orders. I could see they were very stressed and overwhelmed, but I imagine it was because everyone else was also excited to try the new place in town. It was chaos, but I bet once they settle in, the orders will come out easier and it will be a winning place for your chicken and pizza cravings. We got a large pizza with spinach. It was tasty. My daughter found it restaurant quality. She felt it tasted like one of our favorite Italian restaurants, Antonio's, which is a complement to gas station pizza. I liked it. It was very hot and fresh. I wasn't completely wowed by the sauce but would order it again. We got a mixed order of fried chicken and an order of tenders. We tried their biscuits and potato wedges. The chicken was very hot fresh and crispy. Like Krispy Krunchy Chicken, it has a bit of a spice but nothing too overpowering. I liked the tenders and the chicken was nice a juicy. The biscuits were a hit, very buttery with that slight honey sweetness. We did order quite a bit of food, so we do have plenty of leftovers but it was slightly pricey compared to another favorite place that offers chicken and pizza, but nothing too off putting that would prevent us from coming back. I like the large menu. There are plenty of items I would not mind trying. I wonder if I came for a carry-out lunch during the week if it would be slightly easier to order and get in and out faster rather than a busy weekend evening. I am still interested in their fries, calzone, stuffed pizza, cookies and baklava. Plus I could see myself coming strictly for the biscuits and maybe more tenders. ”
